Here at Dearest Fannie we aim to reach our mission in helping our environment by maintaining sustainable business practice. However, we always want to go beyond. One way we do this is through teaming up with One Tree Planted Foundation in order to improve our global reforestation. 

 One Tree Planted’s mission is to save the environment through planting trees and by doing this they restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity, and make a positive social impact around the world.

For every donation, the team plants a tree which is then monitored and reported on its impact. 

 “Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity.

Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines”

 Each purchase of our tote bag plants one tree with this system. This concept aligns with our mission that sustainability can be fashionable. Our totes are made from Fairtrade organic cotton and the art work represents the importance of expression, individualism and collectivism. We therefore look to inspire our consumers by creating our own art and through working with freelance artists.

The foundation has planted a staggering 30 million trees in 43 countries since 2014! Their 2021 mission is to triple their impact from 2020 with a goal of 27 million trees.
